Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Encinitas, CA for a contract - part time role. The position supports students with instructional and behavioral needs under supervision of the special education team. The role involves assisting with personal, mobility and therapeutic care tasks as directed by health professionals.

30 hours weekly at $21/hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, compliance with professional standards, and current CPR if applicable;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
