Job summary

Amergis is seeking a part-time School Aide in Fremont, CA to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision. The role may include helping with mobility and therapeutic care needs as prescribed by health professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR if applicable, and compliance with health and regulatory standards. Must be 18 or older and able to meet federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
