St. Mark the Evangelist is seeking a talented Musician/Cantor to support and direct the Spanish-language Choir during Mass and other liturgical events. This role animates the Sunday liturgy and creates a worshipful musical environment.

The candidate should direct with a parish-focused mindset, coordinate rehearsals, and recruit choir participants while aligning with church leadership and liturgy guidelines.

Formación

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Bilingual; fluent in Spanish.
• Knowledge of sacred music.
• Basic understanding of music theory.
• Ability to read music.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the Spanish-language Choir during Masses and music.
• Schedule Cantors for Masses and services.
• Coordinate and lead rehearsals with choir.
• Select music for Masses and liturgies in coordination with church leadership.
• Copy and distribute music to Choir members.
