Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking qualified part-time faculty to teach Mathematics and related courses, with a focus on Spanish language instruction. In-person teaching across MATC campuses and other sites is expected, including day, evening, and weekend sessions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Spanish or related field, fluency in Spanish and English, and experience in pedagogy and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (read, write, speak).
• Requires a Master's degree in Spanish or a closely related field with 18 graduate credits in Spanish or related field.

Responsabilités

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and related teaching activities.
• Manage the classroom.
• Develop curriculum and monitor and revise for course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
• Manage equipment, supplies and materials.
• Assess student performance and advise on academic issues.
• Attend departmental and institutional meetings.
• Promote the program and participate in recruitment and marketing efforts.
• Support student organizations and activities; complete program evaluation and follow-up.
