Job summary

Cumberland University’s Oakley School for the Humanities, Education and the Arts seeks an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish to teach undergraduate courses in Spanish language and culture on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will design lessons, assess curricula, and contribute to program development under the Dean’s supervision.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or higher, with Ph.D. preferred, and at least two years of Spanish teaching experience in higher education.

Qualifications

• Must communicate well with students and faculty
• Proficient in oral and written Spanish
• Able to design and assess curriculum plans
• Experience teaching undergraduate Spanish

• Design and assess curriculum plans that foster rigorous student learning
