Schulte Hospitality Group seeks a Part-time Spa Nail Technician for Hotel Washington. You will perform manicure, pedicure, gel polish, and nail enhancements while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Maintain strict sanitation, advise clients on treatments, stay current with nail trends, and promote retail products. Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced spa setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program.
• Previous experience in salon or spa preferred, new grads welcome.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a variety of professional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, and nail enhancements.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs, recommend treatments, and ensure a high-quality, personalized experience.
• Stay up to date on the latest nail trends, products, and techniques to enhance service offerings.
• Promote and sell retail nail and skincare products, helping guests maintain results at home.
• Ensure a relaxing and professional environment by delivering services in a calm, courteous, and timely manner.
• Assist with spa reception duties as needed, including appointment scheduling and guest check-in/check-out.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program.
• Previous experience in a salon or spa setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficient in natural and artificial nail care, including current nail art and design trends.
• Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of nail care products, contraindications, and basic sanitation protocols.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
