Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sociology or related field with 18 graduate credits in Sociology.
• Experience teaching college sociology or related courses.
• Experience with CANVAS or other learning management systems.
• Skills in the use and operation of basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Teach live, on-campus sociology courses, primarily introductory level (Soc 101).
• Develop syllabi and course materials in accordance with college policy.
• Maintain records, submit grades, and communicate with department.
• Teach across multi-campus settings when required.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies for course outcomes.
• Provide students with syllabi that meet program requirements.
