Job summary

SCO Family of Services in Dix Hills, NY, seeks a Part-Time Social Worker for a temporary leave replacement of about 6-7 weeks. Responsibilities include intake support, interviews, counseling, and coordination with the treatment team. MSW is required; LMSW/LCSW preferred.

On-site role with a diverse population and collaboration with families and staff. Position is part-time and located at our Dix Hills facility.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required or better.
• LMSW or LCSW preferred.
• Masters degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake support and review referral packets.
• Conduct interviews and tours for new residents and parents.
• Provide individual, family, and specialty group counseling.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team conferences and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and documentation in the EHR.
