Job summary

Monmouth University is seeking an Adjunct Professor in Social Work to teach 3–6 credits per semester in the BSW and MSW curricula. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus, with a non-remote, on-campus capacity.

The role includes developing lectures, discussions, and assignments, meeting with students, and maintaining an inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. This is a part-time, on-campus position.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
• Three years of social work experience.
• Commitment to diversity, social justice and human rights.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3–6 credits during the semester.
• Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions and assignments.
• Provide time to meet with students outside of class.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback and guidance to students.
