Happy Global Inc. is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creator to develop ideas, write scripts, film, edit, and support publishing across Xiaohongshu (RedNote) and TikTok.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on content creation, can take a video concept through final delivery, and coordinates on-site filming in San Jose. Strong writing, basic filming techniques, and proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro are preferred, along with English and Chinese copywriting.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media content creation, short-form video production, filming, or video editing.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to develop clear, engaging scripts and captions.
• Familiarity with basic filming techniques, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
• Awareness of social media trends and ability to turn ideas into relevant content.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Availability to coordinate on-site filming in San Jose as agreed.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-form video ideas aligned with the account’s content direction and target audience.
• Write video scripts, spoken narration, titles, captions, and social media copy.
• Plan and carry out video shoots, including scene setup, framing, and footage collection.
• Edit videos with subtitles, music, transitions, and cover images to produce clear, engaging content.
• Adapt content to the formats and audiences of different social media platforms.
• Support content scheduling and publishing.
• Track basic performance metrics, including views and engagement, and use findings to improve future content.
• Collaborate with the team to incorporate feedback and deliver content on agreed timelines.
