Cape Abilities is seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Associate to cover a leave, bringing a creative, visually minded approach to our brand voice and social channels. The role focuses on content creation—graphics, photography, and copy—while coordinating with the Farm, Hyannis Lyndon Center, and Thrift Store teams to tell compelling stories about our mission.

On-site work is required at multiple locations; candidates should be comfortable traveling between Hyannis, Dennis, and West

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation or related field
• Strong visual sensibility: able to take compelling photos, create polished graphics
• Photography skills: smartphone OK; DSLR a plus
• Proficiency in Canva or comparable design tool
• Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
• Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly with existing systems
• Willingness to travel regularly to Cape Abilities locations in Hyannis, Dennis, and West Yarmouth

Responsibilities

• Create graphics, short-form videos, and static posts for social channels
• Write copy for social posts in Cape Abilities' voice
• Coordinate with Farm and Thrift staff to gather content and tell stories; post in Farm and Thrift channels
• Maintain posting cadence and uphold brand standards
• Visit Cape Abilities locations to capture photos and video
• Build and maintain a library of high-quality images
• Edit photos to meet visual standards
• Manage the photo consent process according to policies
