Art’s Automotive Service and Certified Auto Repair are looking for a creative person to help us make friendly, engaging videos featuring our owner and teams.

We want customers to get to know the people behind our shops through employee conversations, helpful car ownership tips, behind-the-scenes moments, and a little humor. Think “What was your first car?” alongside “What’s something customers should never feel embarrassed to ask?”

You don’t need to know how to fix cars. We have that part covered.

What you’ll help with

• Film our owner and employees during scheduled visits to our two Henrico shops.

Who would be a good fit

• A college student studying communications, marketing, film, or a related field—or someone with a knack for creating videos.
• Comfortable filming with a smartphone or camera and using a video editing app.
• Friendly, dependable, and willing to offer creative input.
• Able to visit both shops for filming during weekday business hours.
• Interested in building a portfolio through ongoing work with local businesses.

Professional experience and expensive equipment aren’t required. Personal projects, school assignments, and social media videos are welcome as examples.

The arrangement

This is a small, paid opportunity with flexible hours and scheduled filming sessions. Editing can be done remotely. We’d like to start with a manageable project and build a routine, initially aiming for about four finished social videos per month across both shops.

You’ll work directly with the owner, who will participate in filming and help plan the content. The focus is approachable social videos; larger commercial productions will be handled separately.
