• Develop ideas proactively and not just follow instructions.
• Write engaging captions, titles, and calls to action.
• Engage with followers and foster conversations around content.
• Aim to improve reach, views, shares, comments, followers and overall engagement.
• Capture dealership events, community involvement, promotions, employee recognition, and other activities.
• Maintain a consistent content schedule and organized library of photos and videos.

Ford of Boerne is looking for a creative, energetic, and results-driven Part-Time Content Creator to help grow our presence across social media and digital platforms.
We are not looking for someone who simply takes photos and posts content. The ideal candidate understands how to create content that captures attention, generates engagement, builds an audience, and strengthens the Ford of Boerne brand in our community.

What You'll Do

• Develop, film, edit, and publish engaging short-form and long-form content.
• Create high-quality video, photography, and audio content featuring our vehicles, employees, customers, dealership, and community involvement.
• Produce Reels, Shorts, Stories, vehicle walkarounds, employee features, customer deliveries, educational content, behind-the-scenes content, and other creative concepts.
• Manage and grow our presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
• Develop creative ideas rather than waiting to be told what to film or post.
• Write engaging captions, titles, and calls to action.
• Engage with followers and help create conversations around our content.
• Focus on improving reach, views, shares, comments, followers, and overall engagement.
• Capture dealership events, community involvement, promotions, employee recognition, and other activities as needed.
• Maintain a consistent content schedule and organized library of photos and videos.

What We're Looking For

Editing experience is required. Candidates must also have access to the equipment necessary to capture high-quality video and audio, including an appropriate camera or professional-quality mobile setup, microphones/audio equipment, and editing equipment/software.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience creating and editing social media video content.
• Has strong video editing skills and an understanding of pacing, hooks, transitions, captions, music, and storytelling.
• Understands lighting, framing, composition, and audio quality.
• Is comfortable filming vehicles and people.
• Is comfortable approaching employees and customers to create spontaneous content.
• Can recognize a content opportunity without being directed.Understands the difference between simply posting content and actually growing an audience.

Schedule

This is a part-time, primarily on-site position at Ford of Boerne. Scheduling may vary depending on dealership activities, events, and content opportunities.
Some flexibility may be required to capture content when the best opportunities occur.
