Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a S3D Administrator to plan, develop, administer, and innovate PD&P automation 3D tools across major projects. The role requires deep expertise in 3D plant design, Smart 3D, and a proven technical leadership track record.

You will support customers, specify software needs, and guide data handover to operations, ensuring cross-disciplinary alignment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex 3D issues, coordinating workshops, and providing expert guidance on tool

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent with 8–14 years of relevant experience.
Extensive experience administering and supporting 3D plant design software and interfaces.
Proven track record as a technical lead on large scale projects.
Experience with Visual Basic 6, .NET, SQL Server, and Windows client/server architecture.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, administer and innovate PD&P automation 3D tools on large projects.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers and troubleshoot complex 3D issues.
Develop software specifications and parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Lead training and workshops, and present to customers as needed.
Coordinate with departments to handover 3D data for operations and ensure configuration compliance.
