Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Small Engine Technician to join our service team. This part-time role focuses on repair, maintenance, and servicing of small engine equipment, including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators.

We offer training and certification, including Stihl Silver Certification within the first year. Signing bonus of $750 is offered, paid in three installments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job training available for motivated individuals.
• Stihl Silver Certification within first year is offered but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of small engine equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and machinery.
• Test repaired equipment for function and safety.
• Maintain service records and parts documentation.
• Order parts and assist with customer selections.
• Follow safety protocols in the shop.
