Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/related discipline or equivalent job-related experience.
• Three years of small business ownership or business management experience.
• Knowledge of starting and operating a successful small business in Oklahoma.
• Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and nonverbal communication.
• Proficiency with personal computer capabilities and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop a network of lenders and funding partners for client referrals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes, financial statements, cash flow management and business ratios.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios in the MIS database, ensuring data integrity and reporting.
• Provide management consulting including business plans, marketing, accounting, finance, and facilities management.
• Conduct one-on-one confidential client consultations with goals set by leadership.
• Deliver workshops and seminars to enhance consulting efforts.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager on outreach and training for communities.
• Develop a network of lenders and funding partners for client referrals.
• Prepare required reports for counseling cases and program documentation.
• Travel regionally to provide SBDC services and attend conferences or trainings.
• Build a diverse client base and meet impact metrics.
• Maintain professional relationships and documentation in English.
