Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students' communication development in a Venus, TX school-based setting. The role offers a four-day work week, seven hours per day, and opportunities to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and educators.

You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and participate in meetings to promote student success. Valid SLPA license and school-based experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA license or certification in the state.
• School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills welcome.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Enthusiasm for helping students succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists to support students speech, language, and communication goals.
• Provide targeted interventions, both one-on-one and in small group settings, within the school environment.
• Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize outcomes for diverse student populations.
• Participate in ongoing training or meetings as required.
