The Childrens Guild School of Prince Georges County in Chillum, MD is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to deliver speech-language services under the direction of an SLP. The role includes push-in and pull-out services, IEP development, progress tracking and potential assessments in collaboration with other professionals.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree in SLP or CSD from an accredited program, with Maryland licensure or eligibility, and at least one

Competenze

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders from an accredited institution.
Minimum one year of full-time post-master's speech-language pathology experience with children preferred.
Possession of a Maryland license/certificate as Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (AUD/HAD/SLP) or eligibility; CPR/First Aid certification and crisis management certification preferred.

Documentation: timely development, collaboration, and writing of IEPs.
Service: provide services as mandated in each student's IEP.
Communication: collaborate with IEP Team and communicate progress to parents/guardians and maintain electronic records.
