Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time position in a senior living setting. You will evaluate and treat residents with swallowing and communication disorders, develop treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.

This role emphasizes individualized private sessions, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, and benefits including licensure reimbursement and CEUs for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals, and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
