Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time role at our St. James and Melville Centers, serving children with autism and developmental differences. Hours are Monday through Friday, 3-7pm, 20 hours weekly, with an immediate start date and a pay rate of $65-90 per hour.

The role emphasizes direct speech therapy, assessment, and collaboration with families, with ongoing training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New York
• Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
• Valid licensure and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
• Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
