Job summary

Care Resources PACE – Lowell, MI is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents. This role offers varied daytime weekday hours with no weekends, approximately 10-12 hours per week, at our Lowell site.

You’ll perform initial evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support frail or elderly participants. Michigan licensure is required; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Prefer at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and professional.
• Work well autonomously as well as within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial speech therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments to determine level of functioning.
• Diagnoses, administer, and interpret speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in assigned participants utilizing a variety of tests.
• Develop a treatment plan for assigned participants in consultation with the physician and other care team members.
• Coordinate services in consultation with the interdisciplinary team.
