Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy across care communities. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and discharge patients in accordance with state and federal regulations while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech‑language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high‑quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
  • Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Improve patients’ communication, cognitive‑linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
  • Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech‑language pathology and the healthcare environment
  • Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
  • Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
  • Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
