Job summary

Piedmont Hills Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy services.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as scheduled.
• Educate residents and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Promote positive clinical outcomes and resident quality of life.
