Job summary

Home Instead in Santa Barbara County is seeking compassionate caregivers to help local seniors thrive at home. You’ll build relationships, provide companionship, and assist with daily activities in clients’ homes across Santa Barbara County, Goleta, Montecito, and surrounding areas.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, weekends, overnight), weekly pay, and benefits through the local team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-Months of Experience at an Agency/Private Care
• Must Have Reliable Transportation and Auto Insurance
• Ability to Treat and Care for Seniors and Their Property with Dignity and Respect
• Ability to Communicate with Clients in a Friendly and Congenial Manner

Sick Time

In accordance with California’s Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act, all employees are eligible for paid sick leave. Employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, starting from their first day of employment. Unused sick leave carries over year-to-year, capped at a maximum of 80 hours (10 days).
