Job summary

Advantage Investigations is seeking a Part-Time SIU/Claims Investigator in Baltimore, MD/Surrounding Areas to conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims in support of client objectives and company standards.

The role requires daily travel within the investigator’s area, with comprehensive training, door-to-door pay, and IRS mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate. Prior PI license and experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years claims investigative experience required
• 3 years investigative experience preferred
• Private Investigator License required in most states

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims
• Review the assignment, supporting documentation, and all case information prior to on-site work
• Consult with the Manager on strategies for individual cases throughout the process
• Locate subjects of the investigation and perform on-site investigations including statements and scene work
• Create and maintain written daily updates, supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final reports timely and professionally
• Demonstrate time management and strong communication skills and handle confidential information
