Job summary

Advantage Investigations in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Part-Time SIU/Claims Investigator to conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims. The role requires daily travel within the investigator’s area and offers door-to-door pay with mileage reimbursement.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of investigative experience, a valid Private Investigator license, and strong reporting skills using MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3 years claims investigative experience required
• Private Investigator License required in most states
• Proficient in Microsoft Office–including report writing
• Must have daily access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel within territory and work independently

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims
• Independently reviews the assignment, supporting documentation, and all case information prior to on-site work
• Consults with the Manager on strategies for cases
• Locates subjects and conducts case investigations (statements, scene investigations)
• Creates and maintains daily updates, supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final reports
• Manage time effectively and handle confidential information
