Daily's Premium Meats in South Salt Lake, UT is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Crew member to load/unload trucks, palletize items, and scan orders. You will support the Supervisor and follow GMPs, safety policies, and daily procedures.

Formación

• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn new computer programs quickly.
• Ability to conduct inventories correctly.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Know proper and common procedures for loading trucks.
• Advanced skills with forklifts and electric pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English is vital to allow communication with drivers, customers, and shipping companies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills including ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide; calculating percentages.

Responsabilidades

• Palletize and organize loads for shipment using correct stacking order.
• Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork including bills of lading and invoices.
• Ensure trucks are loaded in correct order for LTL transit, first stop loaded last, etc.
• Responsible for large quantities of product; maintain integrity and reduce losses.
• Assist in inventories and maintain accurate counts weekly, monthly, and year-end.
• Rotate to related duties within the Shipping department.
• Keep warehouse area clean and well organized.
• Use wireless handheld scanner for inventory reporting and recordkeeping.
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules.
• Follow Daily's GMPs and Safety Guidelines as outlined in Safety Handbook.
• Performs other related responsibilities to support Daily's business objectives.
