Meijer Distribution Center in Newport, MI is seeking a dependable team member for warehouse operations. You will handle receiving, storage, and shipping of Fresh and Frozen foods, ensuring inventory accuracy and quality standards.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong attendance, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. You will collaborate with drivers and unloaders, uphold sanitation and safety procedures, and contribute to efficient distribution.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet company standards.
• Complete receiving-order-shipping processes accurately.
• Keep building sanitation standards consistently maintained.
• Demonstrate 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment. Ensures that all all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
