Job summary

MINISO USA is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, staff training, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will support merchandising, cashiering, opening/closing, cash handling, and loss prevention while promoting the store's membership program to boost loyalty and sales.

Qualifications

• 1+ year as keyholder, supervisor, or shift leader in retail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive sales, meet store KPI goals, and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist the store manager in training and developing sales associates for strong product knowledge and customer engagement on the sales floor & at the register.
• Support daily operations including replenishment, fronting, store maintenance, cash handling, and merchandising.
• Maintain store appearance, ensure proper stock levels, and implement visual merchandising updates.
• Open and close the store, ensuring it is recovered and clean and compliant with safety and procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate to Store Manager when needed.
• Support Loss Prevention and adhere to company policies to prevent loss.
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic attitude aligning with MINISO USA’s customer commitment.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Participate in store promotions and events to support business goals.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations and POS systems.

The Shift Leader plays a key role in assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, training associates, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role contributes to achieving business KPIs, upholding store standards, and assisting with various operational tasks, including cashiering, opening and closing, merchandising, customer engagement, cash management, store upkeep, and shipment processing. Additionally, the Shift Leader will actively promote the store’s membership program to foster customer loyalty. By fostering a positive and energetic environment, the Shift Leader helps ensure that Life is for Fun for both the team and customers, creating a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere that drives success and delivers memorable experiences.
