Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Part-time Shift Supervisor to support store leadership and ensure smooth operations while delivering excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff in the absence of a manager, handle opening/closing procedures, assist customers, maintain displays, stock shelves and promote CVS customer service culture. A High School Diploma is preferred, with prior retail supervisory experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage store staff in the absence of a manager or supervisor.
• Supervise crew through assigning, directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and greet customers.
