Rushwood Senior Living is seeking a friendly Server for a part-time role in Wichita, KS. The position runs Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00pm to 7:30pm, offering an opportunity to engage with residents and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

Qualities include a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to stand, move, and assist residents as needed. Prior dining or service experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19.50 per hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at least at an 8th grade level with residents.
• Maintain a positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with seating, standing, walking, and post-fall support.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and help residents connect.
• Assist with meal service preparation and table readiness.
• Bus tables and keep dining areas tidy to ensure a pleasant environment.
• Observe residents for changes in appetite and report to supervisors.
