Lapper Kitchen + Sports Bar at Town and Country Resort in San Diego is seeking a Part-Time Server to welcome guests, take accurate orders, and ensure smooth service during busy games and events.

You will recommend menu items, handle multiple tables, and maintain a friendly, energetic dining room. Flexible evenings, weekends and holidays are expected; hourly pay starts at $19.00.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality serving experience preferred.
• Genuine desire to take care of people.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to handle multiple tables and priorities at once.
• Team player who can jump in wherever needed.
• Must meet age requirements for alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service from hello to check.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Make menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check in with guests throughout their experience and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain clean, organized and properly set tables.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow all food safety, alcohol service and resort standards.
• Help create an energetic environment where guests want to come back.
