Lapper Kitchen + Sports Bar at Town and Country Resort in San Diego is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server to keep guests happy and tables turning. You’ll contribute to a lively, guest-focused dining experience and work in a fast-paced environment during peak game times.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality serving experience preferred.
• A genuine desire to take care of people.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tables and priorities at once.
• A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Must meet applicable age requirements for alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service from hello to check.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Make menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check in with guests throughout their experience and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain clean, organized and properly set tables.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow all food safety, alcohol service and resort standards.
• Help create an energetic environment where guests want to come back.

The Physical Stuff

You will spend a good portion of your shift on your feet, moving throughout the restaurant, carrying trays, reaching, bending and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
