Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking part-time Server/Waitstaff to join our culinary team in a senior living community. You will work closely with the Culinary Director to ensure meals are delivered smoothly from kitchen to table.

Responsibilities include presenting the daily menu to residents, maintaining a clean dining area, and handling special requests with care. Prior experience is welcome, but training is provided to get you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Friendly and approachable to make guests feel welcome.
• Willingness to learn and be taught on the job.
• Positive attitude, especially when busy, to keep operations smooth.
• Patient and understanding with resident requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need cleaning to help keep the dining area tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

• Check that dishes look perfect before handing to residents.
• Talk to residents about the daily menu and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep kitchen and dining room clean and follow food safety rules.
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen.
• Reset the dining room after meals and maintain presentation.
