Job summary

Terravita Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a part-time Server to welcome guests, describe daily specials, take orders, and serve food and beverages with care. The role supports a fast-paced hospitality environment within the Troon network.

Applicants may have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. Food safety and alcohol awareness training are preferred; a valid driver license may be required for range duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training; Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to guests; answers questions and offers suggestions.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests; maintains workstation and side work duties.
• Sets up and breaks down golf stations every shift; accountable for checks and cash transactions; uses POS system.
• Follows established procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders; adheres to service standards; tray service.
• Position requires cross-training in bartending service.
