Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server for our community restaurant. In this role, you will help create an outstanding dining experience, guide residents to tables, present menus, and support drink selection while building relationships with residents.

You will use our POS system to input orders and complete opening and closing dining room duties. Applicants should have a valid Food Handler’s Card (or obtain one through Spectrum) and a strong commitment to

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our residents.
• If under the age of 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization(if applicable)
• Must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations
• Must have strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist in drink selection
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point-of-sale system
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community
