Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, learn their names, and create a welcoming experience from seating.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on request.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system for kitchen transmission.
• Serve meals and drinks and prepare specialty beverages as needed.
• Check with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address issues.
• Verify guest ages to meet minimum alcohol service requirements.
• Prepare itemized checks, collect payments, and report tips accurately.
• Clean tables and counters after guests finish dining; stock service areas with supplies.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items and bar offerings; respond to guest questions.
• Answer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to callers.
