Job summary

Berkeley Hall Club, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Server Associate (ASA) to support the dining team in delivering exceptional service to members and guests. This role focuses on table maintenance, food and beverage support, and anticipating member needs while upholding high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities include assisting servers, maintaining tables, refilling beverages, and supporting events and banquets. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Servers with food and beverage delivery in a timely and professional manner
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to Club standards
• Refill water, coffee, bread, and condiments as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas
• Communicate effectively with Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, and Kitchen staff
• Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
• Support special events, banquets, and private functions as needed
