Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a part-time Server to assist in dining services. You will be responsible for table setup, serving guests promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere during meals.

This role requires a High School Diploma and offers opportunities to showcase knowledge of American dining service, enhance guest interactions, and contribute to a team-driven dining program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma. Some experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining room for service with table linens, setup, condiments, service plates, and utensils.
• Resets tables during and after service and serves orders promptly and courteously.
• Greet guests at welcome, delivering hospitality and superior customer service throughout the meal.
• Understands menu items and ingredients; can explain preparation methods and suggest options based on guest preferences.

Job description

We are currently searching for a Server to work in Dining. In this role, the Server is responsible for knowledge of American table service and clearing techniques during and after dining service.

Schedule: Part-time position, 20-30 hours per week. Open availability preferred. Dining shifts no later than 7:00PM.

• Prepares dining room for dining by table linen and table scape, condiments, service plates, and utensils.
• Responsible for resetting table during and after dining service. Serves ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Greets guests during initial welcome and provides hospitality and customer service through the meal.
• Understands menu items, ingredients and ability to explain preparation methods and able to make suggestions based on guest preferences.

This position reports to both the Dining Supervisor and Dining Director.

Qualifications: High School Diploma. Some experience working in a professional kitchen environment preferred, but not necessary.
