Middle Georgia State University invites applications for a part-time instructor of sequential art to join our growing and student-centered art program for the spring 2027 semester. The successful candidate will teach ARTS 3475 Sequential Art I during the spring 2027 semester and potentially ARTS 4475 Sequential Art II in the future to support the B.A.

in Applied Art & Design. ARTS 3475 Experience delivering online art instruction is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in art or related field.
• Experience teaching college courses and professional experience in sequential art.
• Ability to teach sequential art online; strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Preferred MFA in studio art.
• Preferred experience with juried exhibitions or equivalent scholarship.
• Industry connections to help students find work after graduation.
