Job summary

Georgia Southern University’s Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions to support undergraduate programs in Foundations Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, and Art Appreciation for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

These positions are semester-by-semester, on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses and teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Fine Arts or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Art supporting course assignment(s).
• Classroom instruction experience in higher education.
• Ability to teach Observational Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, or Art Appreciation.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses.
• Teach in various modalities: face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online.
