Job summary

The Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services seeks a Part-Time Program Leader to assist the Senior Wellness Center and Senior Nutrition Program. This role covers 29 hours per week with a schedule 8:00 AM–2:00 PM Monday–Thursday and 8:00 AM–1:00 PM Friday.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and coordinating programming, leading classes, and ensuring strong customer service while enrolling clients and promoting center activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience providing programs.
• Experience with customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Experience with older adult community or center environment.
• Experience assisting with event planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design programming for the Senior Wellness Center and Senior Nutrition Program.
• Lead classes for participants at different fitness/cognitive levels.
• Provide customer service and help enroll clients for programs.
• Coordinate programming with community groups and schedule speakers and demonstrations.
• Plan and supervise participants at events and arrange spaces/transport.
• Provide clerical support and maintain calendars for activities.
