Job summary

City of Conroe is seeking a Part-Time Driver - Senior Transit Vehicle Operator to operate transit vehicles and provide high-quality passenger service. You will contribute to safe, efficient transportation across fixed routes, paratransit, and on-demand services while representing the City with professionalism.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all regulations, performing vehicle checks, and maintaining a positive passenger experience in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; must be 18 years or older.
• Possession of a valid Texas Class C CDL or higher with Passenger Endorsement (CDL with passenger endorsement required).
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills; ability to work under supervision and in dynamic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit vehicles to deliver fixed-route, paratransit, on-demand, and special transportation services.
• Uphold safety, reliability, and professionalism in accordance with City policies and regulations.
• Serve as a frontline representative of the City of Conroe and maintain high standards of customer service.
