Job summary

City of Arlington is seeking a part-time Bus Driver for Parks to transport passengers for the Senior Adult Travel Program. You will operate a 26-passenger bus in a safe, timely manner and provide helpful information to riders.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers with boarding, completing travel reports, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. A valid Texas Class B license and a good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Class B driver's license required.
• Experience with passenger transport and senior programs preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist passengers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26-passenger bus safely to events and locations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and provide information as needed.
• Complete travel destination, mileage, passenger, and vehicle reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel as required on-site.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with staff.
