Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead for our Succasunna, NJ store.

This role is the face of the business, delivering a friendly, human, and bold customer experience while guiding eyewear choices and service. With 12 months optical experience (or ABO certification in lieu), you will meet daily sales goals, engage with patients, measure eyewear, and support store operations, including opening/closing in LEAD roles.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only.
