Job summary

QSL Management seeks a Server for The Blake at Charlottesville to deliver gracious hospitality in a resort-style senior living setting. You will guide guests through menus, coordinate with bar and coffee shop, and ensure clean, welcoming dining areas with prompt service.

The role requires caring for residents, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and flexibility for various shifts, including holidays and events, within a team that values excellence, compassion, respect and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• ServSafe certification if required by state.
• Food server/hospitality experience preferred.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and meet hospitality standards.
• POS system knowledge preferred.
• Flexibility for holidays, weekends and special events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with team to deliver prompt service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested.
