Job summary

Gaslight Village Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper for the 1st shift. The role involves providing a clean environment for residents and maintaining safe, sanitary rooms and spaces.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, disinfecting surfaces, doing laundry as directed, and coordinating with staff to ensure resident comfort. HS diploma required; strong communication and teamwork skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms and common areas according to schedule.
• Deep clean areas as directed (floors, carpets, bathrooms etc.).
• Move and arrange furniture as needed while maintaining safety.
• Empty wastebaskets, collect and manage laundry per instructions.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
