Job summary

The Gardens of Statesville Assisted Living & Memory Care in North Carolina is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper for the 1st shift. You will maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents, visitors, and staff, following established procedures and teamwork.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, following safety guidelines, and reporting issues. This role offers a consistent part-time schedule with every other weekend hours and a supportive work environment

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred but not required.
Ability to follow directions and work efficiently.
Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize assigned areas including rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas.
Perform routine tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal, restocking supplies.
Follow cleaning schedules, safety guidelines, and infection prevention procedures.
Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to team members.
Use cleaning products and equipment properly per training.
Maintain a professional, courteous interaction with residents, guests, coworkers.
Support a clean and organized environment that promotes comfort and well-being.
