Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months cooking and baking from scratch in a commercial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced meals based on pre-planned menus.
• Prepare meals considering resident preferences and food safety standards.
• Ensure pleasing plate presentation for all meals.
• Offer and prepare resident diets as requested.
• Complete dining room service, including setup, service and cleanup with high hospitality standards.
• Assist with inventory and maintain supplies in kitchenettes and dining areas.
• Follow sanitation schedules to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Participate in preparation for special events.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
