The Landing of Poughkeepsie is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team. In this part-time position, you will prepare and serve delicious meals that cater to our senior residents. You’ll ensure the kitchen is neat, safe, and organized while following prescribed food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in food preparation and presentation, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and competitive wages are part of the package.

Formación

• Experience in senior living or a similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of production methods, portion control, and food safety/handling required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• High attention to detail, especially in presentation and plating.
• Availability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
